Yay! I’m posting and it hasn’t been weeks since my last post. I’m so proud of myself. *laughs*
I have an Independence Day blog that I’ll post soon, but for now here’s a quick view of some of my garden favorites. This summer has been an amazing adventure for me. Each day Father has helped me move on in my photography lessons, and I’ve learned more than I could have possibly imagined when I started on this journey! I can’t wait until the Fall to see how far He has taken me then.
As for a status update on my Photography website, I DO have that coming along nicely, thankfully. Maybe I’ll post a webclip/screen cap of the progress in a little bit. I’ve been working on it slowly, but it is coming along, I promise you that.
I also have some pictures from a friend’s wedding that I took. I didn’t actually get as many good pictures as I wanted to. She had another professional photographer there, and I would have just gotten in the way if I had charged ahead and done what I wanted to do. So I hardly got any formals. But I did get some great shots of some of the details. I’ll post those later!
I’ll stop boring you now and get straight to the pictures! YAY!

I honestly don’t know what this flower is called, but I was at an elderly friend’s house and in her perfect garden (literally, it is like a small slice of earthly heaven it is so beautiful) she had this GORGEOUS little pink flowers that caught my attention. I just couldn’t resist. I think this turned out to be one of the best ones I have from her garden.

We were at my aunt’s the other day, helping her mow her 9 acres, and she had dozens of lilac trees. That is something I miss the most about our old house… Lilacs. They were too pretty to ignore.

Snapdragons, their strange shapes fit their curious name.
These were in our puny garden. One of my little sisters has an amazing green thumb, this is in her little garden that she tends to.

A bucket full of Violas that we have growing on our back step. They’re just thriving out there, unlike the exact same plants that we have on our front steps.

These are also in our back yard. Spiderwort, with their purpley-blue tint, you can almost forget their insane name. *laughs*
That’s enough from me for now. I’ll be posting more soon.
Have a blessed week, everyone! Now that the 4th of July is over, we have the last bit of Summer Vacations to look forward to.
Enjoy it with all your heart.
